Our painting services in Mississauga

Why old paint peeled

Peeling edges and water stains need a closer look before the paint can opens. We check whether moisture or a poor paint bond caused the damage. If an older coating could make sanding unsafe, testing comes before disturbing it. Your new colour will look better over a surface prepared for the real problem.

Room preparation

Which furniture can stay, and which items need moving for access? We discuss protection around doors, trim and the surfaces outside the work area. We fill and smooth the marks included in your quote before priming. Point out any worn edge or patch that catches the light so it is part of our plan.

The surfaces you chose

Your colour, finish and work list tell us exactly which surfaces to paint. We prepare and paint the agreed walls, ceilings or trim with clean edges. A patched wall may look better with a full-wall coat than a small touch-up. Doors, railings and closets can each be listed so you know what the quote covers.

See the finished room

After the painting, we walk through the room with you. Coverage, edges and repaired areas should look right before the work ends. Fresh paint beside older paint may show a small colour difference. If you want a wider repaint, you can discuss that as a separate choice.

Painting questions from Mississauga homeowners

Can you paint over peeling paint?

Loose paint needs removing before a new coat can hold. We check why it peeled and prepare the sound wall beneath it. A continuing leak needs repair before fresh paint goes on.

Will a patched wall match the rest of my room?

Old paint can fade, so a small fresh spot may still show. We prepare and prime the patch before painting. You can discuss painting the full wall for a more even look.

Do you paint doors and trim too?

Yes, if they are part of your work list. Door and trim wear will help us choose the preparation. Your quote will list those surfaces separately.

Do I have to empty the whole room?

Some items may need moving for access, while other belongings can stay protected. We discuss the plan for your room beforehand. You can tell us about fragile belongings during our walk-through.

Can you paint right after other work in the room?

Fresh repairs and wall seams must be ready for paint. Their condition tells us when to prime and apply the finish. If other work is still underway, you will know what comes first.

What about grease on kitchen walls?

Paint may not hold over grease or cooking residue. We clean and prepare the affected wall first. You can choose a finish suited to how you use the room.
