Interior painting

Walls, ceilings, trim and doors can all go on one quote. Before painting, we patch, sand and prime, so the finish looks even under your lights. You choose the colours and the sheen for each room.

Exterior painting

Siding, trim, doors and brick each need their own preparation and paint. Outside work follows the weather and the paint maker’s limits. Most exterior jobs run between spring and fall.

Condos and kitchen cabinets

Condo units bring building rules, elevator bookings and shared hallways to plan around. Kitchen cabinets need degreasing, sanding and a bonding primer before paint. Both jobs have their own pages, linked below.

Prep and repairs first

Much of a good paint job happens before the first coat. We fill holes, fix cracks, caulk gaps along trim and sand glossy surfaces. Larger drywall damage gets a proper repair rather than a coat of paint over it.

How a painting job runs

It starts with your free quote, then the colours and sheens. On painting days, we protect floors and furniture, finish the prep and paint. At the end, you walk through each room with us before we pack up.

Paint and finishes

Each surface gets a paint and sheen suited to it, such as a washable finish for hallways and kitchens. Your quote names the products for each room.

Older Toronto houses

Plaster walls, thick layers of old trim paint and stained ceilings are common in older houses. Older coatings may need testing before sanding, and you’ll hear early if yours do. Careful prep helps new paint hold on plaster and old wood.

Brick wall partially covered with white paint

Room by room, our interior painting service covers walls, ceilings, trim and doors.

For peeling siding or trim, exterior house painting starts with sound preparation.

If you live in a condo, condo painting in Toronto works within your building’s rules.

If your cabinet doors look dated, kitchen cabinet painting gives them a new colour without replacing them.

Holes and cracks to fix first? Drywall repair can come before the paint.

Painting questions from Toronto homeowners

How long does a room take?

It depends on the room’s size, the repairs and how many coats the colour needs. A room with lots of patching takes longer than one with fresh walls. We’ll talk through timing when we quote.

Do you move furniture?

Your quote says what needs moving and how we protect your floors and furniture. Heavy or fragile pieces are best moved before painting day. Anything that stays in the room stays covered while we work.

Which paint do you use?

Each surface gets a paint and sheen chosen for it and the room. Your quote names the products, so you know what goes on your walls. If you prefer a certain brand, tell us.

Do you paint ceilings and trim?

Yes. Ceilings, baseboards, door frames and doors can all join a room quote. Trim needs more prep than walls, so it has its own line.

Can you paint exteriors in winter?

Interior painting can happen any time of year. Exterior paint needs dry weather and temperatures within the maker’s limits, so outside work is seasonal. We’ll suggest a good window for your project.

Do you paint condos?

Yes. We work within your building’s rules for hours, elevators and shared hallways. Our condo painting page explains how we plan around them.
