IKEA PAX wardrobes
A PAX wardrobe is tall, heavy and fussy about level floors. We build the frames, fit the doors and drawers, and adjust the hinges until the doors line up.
Each frame also goes into the wall, as IKEA’s instructions call for.
Anchoring tall furniture
Dressers, bookcases and wardrobes can tip over if a child climbs them. We fix them to the studs, or use anchors suited to your wall. In a condo with concrete walls, concrete anchors do the job.
Moving house
Big pieces travel better in parts. We can take furniture apart at your old home and rebuild it at the new one.
Building it before you move in works too, once you have the keys.
BBQs: propane only
A propane BBQ can go together on the same visit as your patio set, ready for its tank. Connecting a BBQ to a natural-gas line needs a TSSA-certified gas technician.

Do you assemble IKEA PAX wardrobes and kitchens?
Yes, we put together PAX wardrobes, with the doors, drawers and interior fittings. IKEA kitchens have their own page, since they also involve wall cabinets, fillers and often a backsplash.
Will you anchor dressers and bookcases to the wall?
Yes, tall pieces go into the wall with their anti-tip kit, or with stronger anchors where your wall needs them. It’s the simplest way to keep a dresser from tipping onto a child.
Do you take the boxes and packaging away?
We flatten the boxes and gather the packaging in one spot when we finish. Ask about taking it away when you book, and your quote will show it.
Can you assemble furniture before we move in?
Yes, once you have access to the home. Building the big pieces in an empty room is often quicker, and your furniture is ready on moving day.
Can you hook up a natural-gas BBQ?
No. Connecting a BBQ to a natural-gas line needs a TSSA-certified gas technician. We can still put a propane BBQ together for you.
