TV mounting we handle
Most rooms need one of a few common set-ups. Tell us yours, and we’ll plan the mount around your wall.
- TVs of any size on drywall, plaster, brick or condo concrete walls
- Fixed, tilting and full-motion mounts, yours or one we supply
- Above-fireplace mounting, with a heat and viewing-height check
- Hidden cables, using an in-wall low-voltage kit or paintable raceway
- Soundbars, speakers, streaming boxes and floating media shelves
- Taking down an old mount and patching the holes
- Frame and art TVs, projectors and screens
Concrete, brick, plaster or drywall
Each wall holds a mount in its own way. On drywall, the bracket goes into the studs behind it.
Plaster over wood lath can crack under the wrong drill bit, so it needs a slower approach. Condo walls are often solid concrete, and brick is just as hard.
For those, we use a hammer drill and concrete anchors rated for the weight. You’ll know which fixings suit your wall before we drill.
Above a fireplace
A TV over a fireplace looks tidy, but heat and height both matter. We check how warm the wall gets and how high the screen would sit from your seat.
If it would sit too high, a tilting mount or a lower spot may suit you better.
Hiding the cables
Loose cables make a mounted TV look unfinished. An in-wall low-voltage kit runs them behind the drywall, and paintable raceway covers them on brick or concrete.
Adding or moving an outlet behind the TV is electrical work. In Ontario, only a licensed electrical contractor may do it, so that part needs an electrician.

Your questions, answered
Can you mount a TV on a concrete condo wall?
Yes. Concrete takes a hammer drill and concrete anchors rated for your TV and mount. Some buildings set quiet hours for drilling, so tell us your building’s rules.
Can you hide the wires, and can you add an outlet behind the TV?
We can run low-voltage cables inside the wall with an in-wall kit, or cover them with paintable raceway. A new or moved outlet is electrical work, so a licensed electrician needs to do that part.
Do I need to buy the mount first?
No, you can buy your own or we can supply one. Tell us the TV model and how you want it to move, and we’ll suggest a fixed, tilting or full-motion mount.
How high should my TV go, and can it go above a fireplace?
The middle of the screen usually works best near eye level from your seat. Above a fireplace, we check the heat and the viewing angle first. A tilting mount helps when the TV has to sit higher.
How long does TV mounting take, and what does it cost?
The wall, the mount and any cable work set how long it takes. Your free, itemized quote lists each part before we start. Text us a photo of the wall for a faster answer.
